LOS ANGELES, CA \u2013 November 17, 2022 \u2013 <\/strong>The Hispanic Motor Press revealed the finalists for the 2022 Hispanic Motor Press Awards<\/a> (HMPA) during the return of the Los Angeles Auto Show (LAAS) and AutoMobility LA which kicked off today. The 12thannual HMPA program recognized the finalists for best new model year 2022 vehicles in 10 categories for Hispanic car buyers. The morning announcement also included the Hispanic Motor Press scholarship 2022 program winner Wayne Torres-Rivera for communications and automotive college students.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

\u201cWith so many brands and models to choose from, and manufacturer advancements in technology, safety features, infotainment, and cleaner mobility, we help guide Hispanic car buyers who represent 1 in 4 of new-vehicle purchases,\u201d states Ricardo Rodriguez-Long, founder and president of the Hispanic Motor Press. \u201cToday also marks a very special day in advancing the future Hispanic auto journalists. The winners will be announced on February 18, 2022<\/strong>.<\/p>\n\n\n\n

All 2022 HMPA finalist vehicles offer positive overall ownership experience and are considered the most significant automobiles in the market, as they meet the needs and desires of Hispanic consumers. Auto manufacturers voluntarily submit their entries, and the jury panel evaluates vehicles features including overall design, comfort, safety, economy, handling, performance, functionality, infotainment integration, interior design, environmental requirements, driver satisfaction, and price. <\/p>\n\n\n\n

The 2022 HMPA Jury Panelist comprised of independent Hispanic automotive journalists, content creators and industry influencers selected by the organization\u2019s advisory board. Over 20 juror members evaluate over 100 new vehicles during 2021 and into 2022.<\/p>\n\n\n\n
